I've heard a lot of rumors about Mr. Kokopelli ! He must have really gotten around since he has been found in pictograph form all the way from the tip of South America to Canada. I've read that he was a popular folk figure and quite the lady's man, and thus found his way into many fireside stories.
This version shows Kokopelli merrily playing his beaded pipe against a canyon backdrop. Simple patchword and iron-on applique´ (see our Tips & Tricks page) are the two techniques used in this little quilt. Beads are added for embellishment if desired.
