The old testament prophet, Isaiah, lived 740 years before the birth of Christ and yet in Isaiah 53:3 we get accurate and heart-wrenching picture of the circumstances surrounding Christ's death!

This quilt has a pieced cross combined with a screenprinted verse panel.  In the bottom right corner a crown of thorns is embroidered with a simple stem stitch. The panel is included with the pattern and is available separately for those who wish to make more than one quilt.
